Lyft bills itself as “Your Friend with a Car.” In San Francisco there’s one driver whose that cool friend with old-school hip-hop cred. Meet Deco Carter AKA Hip-Hop Lyft.

Carter has turned what would otherwise be a normal pick-up and drop-off trip into a ride with music trivia and classic beats. Riders can earn prizes by answering hip-hop trivia questions.

He’s got a robust knowledge of hip hop facts and figures, having rapped and emceed in the 90s. The passengers who get the last question right can choose from sunglasses, bandannas, necklaces, pimp canes, Red Vines, or whatever else Carter has stocked up on for the night’s ride. Along with the LED-tricked out mustache adorning the car, Hip-Hop Lyft has a Twitter handle, an Instagram, swag, and business cards.
Carter also said he pulls down $800 a week driving for Lyft. Not a bad gig when part of your job is coming up with trivia questions.
